Prior to forming Cristobal & Company, Certified Public Accountants and Business Consultants, Vee was Senior Manager at a reputable CPA firm in Pacific Palisades. She had been with this firm over twelve years. She has over twenty-five years of professional public accounting experience in varied areas such as estate, tax, gift, trust, non-profit organizations, and audit representations with Internal Revenue Service and Franchise Tax Board. Vee’s extensive experience includes preparation of high net worth individual, corporation, partnership, estate, gift and trust income tax returns, audits and reviews of various private industries, HUD and CHFA audits, CIRA audits (Homeowners Association) and non-profit organization audits.
Vee’s many experiences include trust and fiduciary accounting. She has extensive experience in a variety of industries, including food manufacturing, import and export, wholesale and retail, home care, medical, real estate, rental properties, property management, various professional firms and non-for profit organizations. She has helped clients find lenders and investors.
Vee’s experience in taxation, domestic and international, includes assisting clients at all phases of federal, state and local matters in structuring transactions, compliance, and planning to minimize the risk of dispute with tax agencies. She has represented clients in tax audit controversy and successfully defended the clients’ position in the audit. She has successfully represented clients on various tax and audit problems with the Internal Revenue Service, Franchise Tax Board and State Board of Equalization. One of her greatest achievements was when she represented a client with the International Division of IRS with an audit, which resulted in favor of the client (reduction of taxes by almost a million dollars).

Vee was one of three recipients of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants “2004 Special Recognition Award.” This award was given to those members who were nominated by their peers for their achievements and dedication to the organization. She was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award of National Council of Philippine American Canadian Accountants (NCPACA) for her exemplary and dedicated service to the National Council, the Chapter and the Community.
Vee received her degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Education and Master of Science in Business Education in the Philippines. She took her accounting, auditing, business and taxation courses at University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). She is also enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service (Enrolled Agent).
In addition to her business acumen, Vee is an accomplished athlete, and has competed in more than 20 marathons and shorter runs. A Philippine native, she has personally brought more than 10,000 books to different schools in the city. As active member of CALCPA, she volunteers her time to bring financial literacy to California high school students, schoolchildren and senior citizens.
